    • If you want to discuss your concerns and see if therapy is needed, you can call us at 515-949-6918 and the office manager will let the therapists know to contact you.

  • We accept most major insurance companies including Wellmark/BCBS, United HealthCare/Optum, Tricare, Cigna, Aetna, Medicaid, Medicare, Iowa Total Care, Molina, Amerigroup/Wellpoint, Centivo, UMR, OSCAR and Health Partners. If you do not see your insurance-contact us.

  • Yes, this can be discussed with the office manager or therapists.

  • Most of the time, no, however; if it is needed the office manager will let you know or contact the primary care provider themself. Individualized plan of care will be sent to inform them of our recommendations and updates.

  • We will work with you to see what insurance will cover and go from there. The other evaluation will be requested from you.

  • We know initial appointments can be intimidating which is why we will welcome you with care and warmth. Our goal is our office feels like an extension of your home and that the evaluation can be both fun and engaging, while also clinical and informative.

    The evaluation will be an hour long to get general information with the parents, observe the child/adult, and complete formal assessments. Intake forms will be requested to be completed before the evaluation so the therapists can prepare for each individual.

  • Typically, sessions are 30-45 minutes depending on services needed. It is frequently recommended that each client receives treatment at least 2-3 times per week to increase generalization.

  • Each and every person has their own length of therapy depending on their needs. Some individuals prefer to work quickly through specific goals and may only come to a few sessions. Others may have more complex challenges that will benefit from ongoing therapy for years. While your therapist may make a recommendation for length or frequently of sessions, it is always up to the individual to decide what is best.
